  • 3 cups ripe peaches, pitted and sliced about 3 large peaches
  • 1 cup ice cubes adjust for desired consistency
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or simple syrup to taste, optional

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the sliced peaches into the blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender on top of the peaches.
  3. Pour in honey or simple syrup if you'd like extra sweetness.
  4. Secure the lid on the blender and pulse a few times to start breaking up the ice.
  5. Stop the blender and check the texture; it should be icy but scoopable.
  6. Pour the peach slushie into glasses, using a spoon if needed to help transfer the thick mixture.
  7. Garnish with a small slice of peach or a sprig of mint for a colorful finishing touch.
  8. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the cool, juicy refreshment.

Notes

For a thinner consistency, add a splash of cold water or more ice. Adjust sweetness to taste. Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
